We’re taking a short break as we prepare for 929’s next chapter—a new location this year. 

What’s the new concept for this location? 

56709, a new sister bar to 929 will be opening in this space. It’s not a replacement, but a continuation of our mission—bringing together music, cocktails, and Asian pop culture.

Why are you changing the concept here?

We see this not as a change, but an ever-evolving space. We’re expanding the 929 universe, exploring new themes and flavors while staying rooted in what made 929 special: celebrating Asian culture, community, music, and cocktails.

Will the same team still be here?

Yes, many familiar faces will remain. Most of our team will be involved in shaping the new concept right here in LIC.

Will you still host music events, pop-ups, or collaborations in LIC?

Absolutely. The new bar will continue to serve as a hub for music, art, and community events, just like 929LIC did.
